Grateful, appreciative, thankful – these words embody how we, at IR+M, feel this Thanksgiving season and on Giving Tuesday.
Every Monday at IR+M, we kick-off the week with an 8:30am firm-wide huddle led by our Client Team. 191 IR+Mers huddle together and our Client Portfolio Managers share quick updates from the “road,” albeit mostly a virtual one these days. Around this time each year, we have a longstanding tradition of dedicating one of our Monday huddles to give thanks to, and appreciation for, what our clients do for our local and global communities, highlighting year-end initiatives and notable achievements from our clients. This huddle always seems to evoke a lot of positive emotion as we reflect on the important, impactful, and inspiring work of our clients. In many instances, these updates highlight full-circle moments, where our clients’ work has a profound impact on our day-to-day lives beyond IR+M.
At IR+M we are especially thankful this year for our clients who are:
- At the forefront of medical advancement and have been working tirelessly to develop vaccines in order to keep our global community healthy and restore a broader sense of normalcy to our lives.
- First responders and front-line workers who have kept us safe, healthy, and connected.
- Community foundations that are dedicated to having a direct and measurable impact on their residents’ and communities’ welfare which is more important now than ever before.
Thankful does not do justice to how we at IR+M feel about the work that our clients do day-in and day-out, but on behalf of everyone at IR+M, we want you to know that we are grateful, appreciative, and thankful. Although the last 21 months have changed the way we interact with our clients, what has not changed is IR+M’s approach to our clients and our commitment to helping the world around us. Every day – but especially today, Giving Tuesday – we are inspired to give to the charities that reside in our hearts. In recognition of Giving Tuesday, we at IR+M put an exclamation point on these acts of kindness by double matching all IR+Mer donations.
