Wesly joined IR+M in January 2011 and was named Senior Portfolio Manager in 2022. In his role, he focuses on portfolio construction, sector analysis, and contributing to the investment decision-making process.
At IR+M, Wesly has held roles spanning credit research, trading, and portfolio management, sharpening both his analytical approach to investing and his appreciation for the collaborative exchange of ideas.
Prior to joining IR+M, Wesly was an Equity Analyst at Eastern Investment Advisors, covering the Financials and Consumer Staples sectors.
Wesly earned a BBA in Finance from Georgia State University, an MBA in Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, and an MS in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of Management.
Raised with strong agrarian roots, Wesly spent much of his childhood on his family's farm, which instilled a strong work ethic and appreciation for discipline, patience, and long-term thinking, qualities that continue to guide his investment approach.
