Mike joined IR+M in November 2007 and was named Co-Chief Investment Officer in 2025. In his role, he partners closely with fellow Co-Chief Investment Officer Jim Gubitosi to lead the firm’s Investment Professionals, overseeing the firm’s investment strategy and performance. Working closely with the Investment Team, Mike helps evaluate cross-sector relative value opportunities, portfolio positioning, risk exposures, and opportunities across primary and secondary markets.
Over the course of his nearly 20 years at IR+M, Mike has developed a deep appreciation for the firm’s collaborative culture and its role in delivering consistent investment results. He believes meaningful contributions can come from individuals across all levels of the organization, and values fostering an environment where teamwork, accountability, and shared success remain central to the firm’s investment process and culture.
Prior to joining IR+M, Mike was a Vice President and Fixed Income Sales Representative at HSBC, where he provided institutional client coverage across primary and secondary fixed income securitized markets.
Mike earned a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
Mike enjoys travel and values the perspective that comes from experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, and stepping outside his comfort zone.
