Kristoff joined IR+M in January 2011 and was named Director of Credit Research in 2021. In his role, he leads the firm's Credit Research team and works closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Client Service to support investment decision-making and share the team's credit research perspectives with clients, consultants, and prospects.
Since joining IR+M, Kristoff has combined deep sector expertise, including coverage of the Basic Materials, Energy, and Utilities sectors, with leadership of the firm's Credit Research team. He has also played a key role in advancing the firm's research capabilities and research management technologies.
Prior to joining IR+M, Kristoff was an Associate at Crowninshield Financial Research, supporting research involving securities, investments, and financial markets.
Kristoff earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering and holds both an MS in Management and an MBA in Finance from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. Kristoff is SASB FSA accredited.
