Erinn King joins the Boston-based fixed income manager to drive the firm’s growth strategy and lead product development and marketing efforts. 

 

BOSTON, APR. 17, 2023 – Income Research + Management (“Income Research” or “IR+M”) today announced the hiring of Erinn King, CFA as Chief Strategy Officer. In the newly created role, Erinn will be responsible for developing and executing IR+M’s growth strategy as well as directing the firm’s product priorities. She will report to Bill O’Malley, CEO and Co-CIO, and will work closely with Jim Gubitosi, co-CIO, and Susan Brengle, Head of Client Relationships and Business Development.

Erinn spent seven years in product management and client-facing roles at Wellington Management before joining Payden & Rygel in 2010, where she most recently served as a Managing Director. She was a founding member of the firm’s Boston office and was responsible for client relations and business development for the East Coast, Bermuda, and Canada. During Erinn’s tenure at Payden & Rygel, she managed various strategic initiatives including oversight of the global insurance practice, the launch of multiple new products, and the development of key client partnerships.

Erinn earned an MBA in Finance at Boston University and also holds a BFA and MFA in Dance from the University of Oklahoma. She is Chair of the Investment Committee and a board member for the New England Foundation for the Arts and a member of the Boston Club. She is also a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Insurers, a City of London livery company. Erinn previously chaired the board for the CFA Society Boston and served as a trustee for Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre and as Co-President of the board for the Boston Dance Alliance.
