Jake Remley, senior portfolio manager at Income Research + Management, shared his perspective on the impact of rising inflation on municipal bonds with Bond Buyer. Jake suggested that investors should be patient, as the Federal Reserve could control rates with language despite rising inflation expectations. He also added that investors could mitigate mark-to-market risk by shortening their portfolio’s duration.
