Kate Taylor joined the IR+M Board of Directors as an advisory member in 2021 and was elected as an outside Director by the firm’s Shareholders in 2024. She is a Founder and Partner of Alderbrook Advisors, a boutique business management consulting firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Previously, she was a Principal and Chief Operating Officer at Longfellow Investment Management, Director of Research Operations at Cambridge Associates, and an Assistant Vice President at Wellington Management Company.
Ms. Taylor brings to the Board her expertise on building leadership teams, succession planning, and Board governance, particularly in the investment management industry. Currently, she serves on the Advisory Committee for Polen Capital, and on the Board of Trustees of the Taft School as a member of the Finance & Investment and Governance Committees.
Ms. Taylor has a BA in Economics from Williams College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. She lives in Wellesley, MA and enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and playing tennis when she can.
