Allison Walsh, senior vice president, was promoted to the newly created role of head of ESG and corporate sustainability by fixed-income specialist Income Research & Management on Sept. 1.
Ms. Walsh is working with the firm’s investment and research teams to “enhance integration of material ESG factors into the investment process,” as well as uniting the product and client services teams to “enhance strategy offerings and create custom solutions for clients,” a news release Thursday said.
“Allison will play an important role in guiding our integration efforts, in addition to championing development of new thematic and impact-oriented strategies,” William O’Malley, the firm’s CEO and co-CIO, said in the release.
Ms. Walsh’s prior role at Income Research was investment product specialist and senior vice president. She will not be replaced, said Becky Nye, a company spokeswoman, in an email.
Income Research manages $83.6 billion in fixed-income strategies.
