Sue Synodis, the Chief Human Capital Officer and Co-Chair of the Office of DEI at Income Research + Management, offered FundFire insights as to how the firm’s LGBTQ+ allyship and Pride Month celebrations have evolved over time. As part of self-education efforts this year, IR+M senior leaders encouraged their colleagues to explore the origins of the Pride movement and share details about its milestone moments during team meetings, Sue explained. Some of the firm’s book clubs also feature writings by diverse authors, such as transgender activist and Senator Sarah McBride, she noted.
