Bill O’Malley, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer, offered FundFire insights as to how the firm is making sure that employees stay connected and avoid isolation fatigue as the Covid-19 pandemic continues. Bill explained that IR+M launched an initiative called VOOT — Virtual Open Office Time — where employees can ask impromptu questions, solicit and receive immediate feedback on projects, or just casually chat with members of their team or other teams. He also discussed how IR+M teams are personally adjusting to prolonged remote work.
